What to do with your wedding dress?

So here's the question, what do you do with that wedding dress after the ceremony?  Its been a few years since I was married and my baby sister recently got married.  Our mom is so talented and makes beautiful quilts, including picture quilts.  I have begged her since my wedding to make a quilt for me with my wedding dress using pictures from my wedding.  She won't do it..lol! My sister now feels the same, why leave a beautiful gown sit in a box for who knows how many years, when you can use it to make something you can treasure even more and display.  Mom thinks that someday any future daughters we may have might want to wear the dress, but I feel differently every girl wants her own wedding dress!  What's your opinion?
